Chapter 04

The Survivors

8:22am Nikki pulls herself out of bed and stands there moving the hair out of her face and rubbing her eyes, As the room comes into focus she notices Alvarez awake and putting on his jeans and top.
Nikki: "Oh heya Hun, good morning how are you feeling?" as she makes her way over to him and wrapping her arms tightly around his waist and giving him a cuddle.
Alvarez: "Hey Nikki, I see you're feeling bright this morning" as he looks down at her naked body "I really hope your going to put something on before you leave the room hehe"
Nikki: "Oh hehe yeah of course Hun, I just wanted to give you a lovely warm cuddle" smiling into his eyes then resting her head on his chest.
Alvarez: "Uh that's OK but I better get some breakfast going for everyone" pushing himself away from Nikki.
Nikki: "Aww OK Hun what'ya making today?" Looking rather sad because she was no longer in his arms.
Alvarez: "You're favorite, Rolled wheat" as Nikki looks at him trying to think if he was being sarcastic or not.

Custurd: "Hey Iria that's cheating!!!" Custurd shouts as her and Iria sit in-front of the screen playing Anthro fury together.
Iria: "Haha! Got you again" As she hammers the buttons with her paws making her character spin Custrurds around and throwing it into the pit.
Custurd: "Grrr... I don't like this game anymore I wanna play Bunny hops Adventure" Dropping the joy-pad onto the floor and slumping herself into the sofa.
Iria: "Alright you can play that after breakfast as-long as you eat it all this time" As Iria flicks the screen onto the News channel.
Custurd: "News!? BORING!"
Iria: "Oh shut up you" As the news reporter begins to announce the latest information.
Reporter: "Many Anthro's may be experiencing some issues with their power supply for the next couple of days due to a malfunction to a number of the solar panels on the Earths surface. Some appear to have been sabotaged with the cables cut and panels smashed. However no clues have been left and the saboter is still at large"
Custurd: "Cool!!! so does that mean were going to have a black out?"
Iria: "Uh no I think were OK Custurd, Our section isn't connected to the panels that were affected"
Custurd: "Oh...that's a shame, I want some action around here" As she grabs the remote and flicks the screen over to her favorite channel AMTV.
Custurd: "Yay I love this song" as she jumps up onto the sofa and flails her arms around wildly.
Alvarez: "Alright you lot breakfast is on the table" as all the den mates make their way to the table apart from Lisa who was still in the bedroom.

Pulling herself out from under her covers and flicking the lamp next to her bed on. Stepping her way over to the mirror and looking at herself, running her eyes from her face down her breasts and stopping at the scar on her stomach. Slowly she begins to gently stroke her paw along it and bites her lip to hold back her cry. Tears slowly roll down her cheeks as she brushes them away with the back of her paw. After a short while she pulls herself away from the mirror and grabs Tillis's gown that was thrown over the back of her chair and wraps it around herself and leaves the bedroom to have her breakfast.

Upon the Earths surface located within a large run down factory.
A tall dark man walks slowly down a dark corridor filling it with the sound of his footsteps on the tiled floor, He wore a long black flowing robe that dragged along the floor behind him and a hood that covered his face, His figure appeared to be very muscular.
He stops at the large metal door at the end and presses his hand against it pushing it open.
Slowly he walks into the next room, A large hall, it was pitch black and you could not see where the walls started or the floor finished only the feint blue light that trickled in through the door the man had left opened illuminated subtle shapes of hundreds of figures standing in its centre.
Silently they didn't move or make a sound they just stood there like stone statues.
Suddenly the man pulls a staff out from his robe it adorned an Eagles head on the top and the shaft was made of roughly cut wood.
He raises the staff into the air and the eyes of the Eagle burst into an intense white light illuminating the room and all the motionless figures within, their eyes begin to glow red and they all step forward one step and straighten themselves up onto a neat formation.
"Greeting's soldiers" the man says with a very deep and powerful voice "It appears the solar panel sabotage went according to plan, this should give us the perfect opportunity to infiltrate Centre Earth and do so unnoticed by the Anthros. As you all know specimen 001 is still unfound and our primary duty is to obtain it and return it to our labs for testing to further our research into the perfect Anthro vaccine. With this vaccine complete we can put an end to this threat to mankind and we the humans the Survivors will re-inhabit this Earth as the primary race once again!" as every member in the room raise their right hand into a fist and shout "For the human race!"
"We do not expect this mission to be easy, we expect many casualties and many life's to be lost but none will be in vain. The Anthros may have superior reflexes and skills but they will not be expecting us, giving us the advantage. We shall win this...this War! We will prevail!!!" as the room erupts once again with the chant of "For the human race!"

Custurd: "Yay Bunny Hops Adventure here I come!!!" Spooning the last mouthful of rolled wheat into her mouth and forcing herself to swallow it.
Nikki: "Well done Hun you ate the whole lot today!" Giving her a cuddle and a kiss on the cheek as Custurd jumps over the back of the sofa to land in-front of the screen itching to play.
Alvarez: "So how you feeling today then?" he says looking at Tillis.
Tillis: "Oh I'm OK, been better but nothing to worry about"
Alvarez: "Alright babe, well just so you know I'll always be here for you" as Tillis smiles at him then gets up from her stool and makes her way over to him and sits on his lap putting her arms over his shoulders.
Tillis: "I know you are, you do so much for me I don't know how I could ever repay you"
Alvarez: "I don't ask you too, I just want to know that you are well and happy that's all I could ever ask for" as Tillis's eyes begin to well.
Tillis: "Thanks Alva you're so special to me" pulling herself closer to him and gently pressing her lips against his and giving him a kiss. All the while Nikki looks on from the kitchen "Hmph" she says to herself "Why do I never get the men..." placing the empty bowls into the washer then slamming the door.
Iria: "Hey sweet heart you alright in there you need a hand?"
Nikki: "N...no I'm fine Hun don't worry about me"
Iria: "So Lisa how are you today how did you sleep for you're first night here?" looking at her.
Lisa: "Uhm yeah it was fine"
Iria: "I'll say, you were the last to get out of bed this morning you must have been comfortable"
Lisa: "Y...yes I didn't want to get out of bed" smiling at Iria.
Iria: "Ha don't expect many lay-ins with this girl around im telling you" as Custurd turns to look at Iria and pokes her tongue out.
Custurd: "Hey Lisa did you wanna join me in Bunny Hops Adventure!?!"
Lisa: "O...oh sure thing Custurd" as Custurd grabs the other joy-pad and leaps onto the sofa next to Lisa and dropping it into her hands.
Lisa: "So uhm what does this do?" as Custurd looks at her bemused.
